Thomas is a rather cheeky little tank engine, but is good at heart and generally behaves well, except when he is getting into mishap. He loves teasing the others and, on occasion, brags about his superiority, but is always brought down to earth in due course. If Thomas has one major character flaw, it's that he is forgetful, and slightly impatient. However, he is also optimistic, idealistic and brave.

What's the same about them is that they're both blue and fast. They are both also cheeky, impatient, brave, sometimes boastful, helpful, hardworking and loyal.
The only differences about them is that Rainbow Dash is sometimes lazy and arrogant and Thomas is always willing to work or help and respectful.
